The Avaya 1616 IP DeskPhone is made for the Pilot user. Receptionists, managers and assistants are examples of Skipper users – people who pick incoming calls, handover customers to different sections or extensions and monitor numerous line appearances through a distinctive day. For the Navigator user, the 1616 delivers the most one-touch line key without the need to scroll through on-screen lists.

The Avaya 1616 supports 16-line feature buttons on the phone itself and a 32 keys expansion model offers access to a total of 48 feature buttons or speed dial keys. Each of the keys features a dual LED given that explicit status for the user. For a famous look and feel, the 1616 contains a number of fixed feature buttons for common phone tasks with conference, drop, transfer, hold, and mute. In addition, the 1616 take in a high quality 2-way speakerphone and supports a broad collection of Avaya wired and wireless telephones over its integrated headset jack.

The Avaya 1616 IP DeskPhone features a context sensitive user edge along with 3 softkeys and a 4-way navigation cluster – perfect for scrolling over the native contacts list or call logs. The looking angle of the LCD on the 1616 is adaptable and measures 4-lines by 24 keys. Moreover, caller related information is displayed with active looks for easier call handling. The LCD is backlit for easier viewing in all lighting situations.
